We’re thrilled to sit down with Tamta Mosulishvili, Founder and Creative Director of Quintet London, a brand redefining the future of gifting through personalised art on silk. With no limitations on what can be drawn and the ability to customise even their signature designs, Quintet London brings a fresh perspective to the gifting industry. From scarves and pocket squares to ribbon scarves, each piece is a timeless keepsake, offering meaningful, wearable and utterly personalised gifts that stand apart in today’s market. In this conversation, Tamta shares her creative journey, the inspiration behind her work and the philosophy that defines her brand.

We're always inspired by the elegant aesthetic of Quintet London. Could you tell us about your background and what sparked your passion for fashion design?
Thank you, that truly means a lot. My love for fashion and styling began at a very young age. I have vivid memories of playing dress-up with my sister, watching my mother get ready with such grace, and the three of us often changing or tailoring clothes to make them feel more personal. Fashion was always present in my life, not just as something to wear, but as something to express and transform.
Later, I studied Strategic Fashion Management at the London College of Fashion, which gave me the business foundation, but my creative drive has always been rooted in storytelling. I live to collect meaningful moments and turn them into something that moves people. Quintet London was born from this passion, as a way to bring stories, dreams and emotions to life through personalised silk art. With every piece we create, our aim is to make someone feel seen, loved and remembered. It is emotion-evoking gifting, made to be cherished forever.
The fashion industry is incredibly competitive. What was the inspiration behind Quintet London, and how have you worked to carve out your unique space in the market?
The inspiration behind Quintet London came from a personal desire to create gifts that feel truly meaningful. I noticed a gap in the market for luxury items that carry emotional weight, something more personal than a logo and more lasting than a trend. I wanted to offer people a way to gift memories, not just objects.
Our pieces are born from real stories, dreams and emotions, and that is where the magic lies. Each scarf, pocket square or ribbon scarf can be completely bespoke or adapted from our signature designs, allowing the giver to be part of the creative process. That level of thoughtfulness creates a connection far beyond traditional gifting.
I believe we are fitting the most personalised gifting gap on the market. Carving out our space in such a competitive industry has been about staying true to that vision. We are not trend driven, we are emotion led. And by focusing on craftsmanship, personalisation and storytelling, we have built a brand that resonates with people looking for gifts that are wearable, meaningful and utterly one of a kind.

We're curious about the name "Quintet" - does it have a special meaning or story behind it?
The name “Quintet” comes from a university project that is very close to my heart. At the time, we were creating an artwork that brought together five different cultures in one design, and I was the project manager. We ended up winning the competition, and I believed in the concept so much that I continued exploring it beyond university.
Shortly after, one of my teammates and I were approached by a horse riding team who wanted us to create a design around horses in the form of scarves. That was a pivotal moment. I realised there were no limitations to what we could draw and that we had the ability to create something deeply meaningful and truly one of a kind. From that point on, I became passionate about crafting emotion evoking pieces that go far beyond aesthetics.
I decided to keep the name as a tribute to the project's beginnings and the harmony of ideas, storytelling and creativity that continue to shape everything we do today. Hence the name Quintet, as it means five.
4. We've noticed your beautiful attention to detail and craftsmanship. Can you tell us about your design process - from initial concept to finished piece?

Thank you so much. Attention to detail and craftsmanship are at the heart of everything we do. Having worked in luxury retail for over 13 years, I have developed a genuine love and attachment to quality and to the beauty of how things are made. That sensitivity to process has become a defining element of Quintet London.
Each piece begins with a story. Our design process starts with a set of tailored questions depending on the nature of the project. If it is a personal gift, we explore who the piece is for, their memories, dreams, milestones or passions. If it is centred around an event theme or company story, we dive deep into brand guidelines, tone of voice and creative direction to ensure every detail aligns with the client’s world.
Once we have gathered that insight, we begin creating a bespoke illustration. Our artworks are drawn digitally, stroke by stroke, with careful attention to composition, symbolism and colour. We share a preliminary sketch with the client and then refine the design based on their feedback, evolving it until it feels perfect to them.
When the artwork is approved, it is printed on 100 percent satin silk using a certified low-waste process here in the UK. Each piece is then finished by hand using our intricate hand roll stitching technique or a clean stitched edge, depending on the product.
Your designs seem to balance timelessness with contemporary elements. How would you describe your design ethos, and how has it evolved since founding Quintet London?
Thank you for your kind words. Our signature design beautifully represents the balance between timelessness and contemporary elements. At its heart, it symbolises a human figure wrapped in scarves, an abstract representation of self-expression, emotion and personal identity. It serves as a canvas for storytelling, inviting each client to see themselves or someone they love reflected in the piece.
When it comes to bespoke creations, our design ethos becomes even more fluid. These pieces are shaped by our clients’ tastes, stories and feedback. In many ways, we evolve with our clients, whether they are closely involved in the process or give us full creative freedom. Both journeys are equally special.
The creative process becomes deeply immersive. Each project teaches us something new and allows us to escape into a world of imagination, where we transform stories and memories into silk. That emotional connection is the essence of everything we do.
Building a fashion brand from the ground up involves countless decisions and challenges. Can you share some of the obstacles you've faced and how you've overcome them?
Building Quintet London from the ground up has been incredibly fulfilling but not without its challenges. One of the biggest obstacles has been educating people on what we truly offer. We are not just a scarf brand, and we are certainly more than an accessory label. What we create is deeply personal, emotionally driven and story led. It lives in its own space, somewhere between art, fashion and meaningful gifting.
Spreading that message with only one main figure behind the brand, myself, can be demanding. It takes energy, time and constant storytelling. But I have so much passion for what we do that I remain fully committed. I believe in this vision with all my heart, and I will do all it takes to bring it to the people who are searching for something real.
We are filling what I see as the most personalised gifting gap in the market, creating pieces that are not only wearable but emotionally resonant and made to be treasured. That mission keeps me going through every challenge.
What's on the horizon for Quintet London? Are there new collections, collaborations, or directions you're excited to explore?

We are constantly looking to collaborate with brands and companies that either do not have their own physical product or are unable to gift what they offer. Our silk creations become a meaningful extension of their identity, something their clients can keep, wear and remember.
We have finalised beautiful projects with jewellery brands, luxury hotels and members clubs for their VIC gifting, and we are excited to expand further in that space. We are also growing in the event gifting world, where we can match the theme of the event throughout and create something truly cohesive.
One of the most special aspects of our offering is the ability to personalise each piece with individual names. It adds that beautiful, thoughtful touch that makes the gift feel truly personal and unforgettable.
In addition, we are actively growing our presence on personalisation-led gifting platforms and are proud to already be featured on a few. The future for Quintet London lies in continued collaboration, creative storytelling and connecting with more people through that emotion-evoking gifting that is wearable, memorable and utterly personalised.
